On "The Secret"

Updated on January 29, 2012

I had to write this piece. If for no other reason, I had to write this at least as a sign of gratitude to the Universe and to “The Secret”, which has indeed changed my life in a quite unimaginable way. Of course, there are more things to be thankful for but right now I would like to focus on “The Secret”. I will be brief.

Many people have heard of this little book. Many others have seen the film. I have not. I like reading and I find often times that the book is much better than its counterpart, the film. For those who have not heard about “The Secret”, I must say that it is worth investigating.

Whether You have heard about “The Secret” or not, I have a few things to say about it and to begin with, I have to clearly state that: it works. It is a simple way of bettering one’s life in this three dimensional perspective. It costs nothing but your attention and your focus.

You have to believe in yourself and in the magical powers of the Universe for “The Secret” to work though ... denial means failure from the start.

“The Secret” mainly talks about the law of attraction. You attract things during your life-time: all sorts of friends, acquaintances, jobs, cloths, cars, etc. All the things that are in your life, You have attracted them to You. Your dog, cat, fish ... whatever You have or You interact with, You attracted to You. This is quite important to understand.

Thus, one can attract many things ... or anything(s). This is where the part about intent and visualization comes-in. And this is also rather important.

We must be careful of our intent and of what we visualize during our life-time. If we intend on doing good things and honestly visualize good thing then, we attract good things in our life. The optimist is an optimist because he/she visualizes his/her life as such and the pessimist is a pessimist because he/she visualizes his/her life in that manner as well. One will have more positive experiences due to his/her way of visualizing things and the other will have more negative experiences because he/she sees life from that perspective too.

In my case (as a quick example - I have many ...), within the past year I knew I had to meet some people. I will not go into detail about how I knew that I had to meet certain people but I was quite open in expressing my intention to meet the people I had to meet. For the entire last year, I ran around saying that there were some people that I was looking for. Well, I met them and some will come to comment on this piece of writing too. They know who they are.

“The Secret” is as real as it can be: You can attract whatever You wish in your life. The trick though, is to be honest in your intention and visualization of what You want to attract and to be persistent. It’s quite simple in my mind. I wish it works for You too!

May Wakan Tanka guide your path.

Hooka-hey!
